Michel Temman was born in Paris and developed over the years a personal style for graphic and free elements in vivid colors and unconventional digital abstractions. After his Master at Sorbonne University, he completed photo-reports in South Africa, Senegal, United States, Porto-Rico, Sainte-Lucie, Israel, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and China. He is currently based in Shanghai where he regularly collaborates with Louis Vuitton and Tara Ocean Foundation. Michel Temman signed a solo show at SuperChina Gallery in 2016 and joined 2017 PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai with ArtCN. In 2018, Michel Temman has collaborated with the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art for the exhibition "A Beautiful Elsewhere", at Power Station of Art Museum in Shanghai and was then invited to create an imaginary flag for the installation "Draw me a flag" based on an idea by Christian Boltanski. He joined Art Shenzhen with Matthew Liu Fine Arts in 2020 and joined ArtCN for the second time at 2021 PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai.
